STEVENSON’S NOVEMBER TITLE SHOT IS PROBABLY GONE

Joe Stevenson’s victory at UFC 74 has been dampened by the fact that he learned his injury was a broken nose. Initially reported as a broken jaw, Stevenson confirmed on the Mr. Sunshine Show that it was actually his nose that was busted in the first round of his three round fight against Kurt Pellegrino.

    Surprising he was only suspended until September 25th unless it’s longer and just hasn’t been updated by the NSAC.

    Love your interviews, Shine Boy! I can’t recall a more lucid talk with a UFC fighter before. I’m new on Stevenson but your post fight interview showed a truly well spoken individual….nothing against Frank Mir, but I’d rather listen to Stevenson on the Versus fights than the muddied tones of Mir, the lost probe. Did he really say what Babalu did was “worse than steroids”? Go on, Joe! Keep it comin’
