BLAKE BOWMAN ANSWERS CRITICS, SAYS HUGHES IS A JERK, CALLS DORIAN PRICE CRAZY AND VOWS TO MAKE IT IN THE UFC!
I can’t remember being more pissed off after an episode of TUF than I was following the latest episode. I walked away thinking how in the hell did this kid Blake get on the show.
DON’T FORGET EACH WEDNESDAY NIGHT FOLLOWING THE WEST COAST FEED OF TUF 6, MR. SUNSHINE HAS THE FIRST EXCLUSIVE CONVO WITH THE FIGHTER ELIMINATED THAT NIGHT. CHECK BACK AT 11:05P PT EACH WEEK
Is the talent pool that thin around the country?
Bowman popped on the phone to answer my criticisms. The kid won me over. His confidence is unyielding and he was brutally candid about the show and the other cast members. See what you think.
Bowman blamed his lousy performance on the knee injury he suffered.
Bowman says he knows a few thousand Matt Hughes-types. Calling him a typical jock with an elitist attitude. He said Hughes wasn’t a very good coach and the jiu-jitsu training was laughable. But in the same breath, he said Hughes was a quality person at times.
Did he even belong on this show? He took that one head on.
His background is interesting. He looked like the rest of us, a few years back…a fat slob. He once weighed 240 lbs.
He also addresses how a guy who is 0-0 professionally gets a spot on TUF.

In part two, Bowman says Dorian’s threat to the Spike TV crew member..was legit. Not a TV stunt. Price is simply wacky, according to Bowman.
He said with a healthy knee, no way Richie Hightower beats him.
The Georgian also laughs off the criticism that we see on the show coming from teammate Mac Danzig.

I think they put him on to help the reality portion of the show as opposed to the fighting portion. He was a guy who was entertaining and could fight a little.

I don’t know why he was on the show. I found him really annoying. Fighting just isn’t his thing.

I’ve read alot of interviews on MMA websites that Hughes has conducted and they werent the nicest. Hughes it there for the ratings and money, He isnt there to HELP anyone, he just wants the W next to his name.
I rather train with Robbie Lawler than Hughes. Robbie took out Ninja Rua, Easily…
All Hughes does is shoot-ground n pound… The only time he tried to stand up and fight, GSP beat him. You can argue that he fought Royce, but that man is PAST father time, He hasnt been the same since the 1st Sakuraba fight.
How did a guy with 0-0 record get on the show, next outing Im going for it, If he can make I can make!!!!!!!!!
ONE MORE THING, thanks Dana for not getting Fedor… Maybe M1 will show him on EliteXC… Ummm did I say that out loud?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
