Keep an eye on the mainstream media and if they glom onto the upcoming Big Show v. Mayweather act that will be unveiled at Wrestlemania 24.

One note of slight interest, I keep seeing Floyd listed at 5-foot-8. We’re being dicks on this one, but if Floyd is 5-foot-8, then I’m 6-foot. I had to re-post this photo simply to see my tablecloth button down shirt looking all warped again.

I digress. Vince already has one midget story line working. Mr. Mahon topped himself by whipping and then kicking the sh*t out of a real midget..something called Hornswoggle.

Will the LPA (Little People of America)  express outrage over the Hornswoggle and Floyd storylines?

Floyd drives me nuts and I’m looking forward to the day when he faces someone who poses a real threat in the boxing ring. That said, I would never root for a Pete Rose-like fate in WWE for Floyd.

Even if I did root for that, Floyd isn’t as pathetic as Pete. Nor does he have the massive bills to pay based on numerous illegal activities over the last 30+ years.

McMahon treated Rose worse than Hornswoggle in three different WWE appearances. He let Kane tombstone the Hit King. Then Kane was allowed to choke slam pudgy Pete. That wasn’t enough so let’s some fat guy named Rikishi rub his ass on Pete’s face. Lovely.

COTTO HAS THREE FIGHTS SCHEDULED, FLOYD BUSY ACTING

Boxing fans understood Floyd Mayweather needed some time off after his win over Oscar DelaHoya back in December. Afterall, he hasn’t taken off an extended period of time since he turned pro back in 1996. 

We expected him to possibly do some more reality television and further develop his rap label. That would allow his bad hands to heal before his next big fight. Miguel Cotto, the top fighter at 147, is clearly the guy Floyd should fight.

Not so fast my friend. First, we hear Floyd and Oscar are going to try and scam another 49.99 from the public in September. And now Mayweather is entering the land of make-believe, WWE.   

Mayweather made an appearance at WWE’s Las Vegas PPV event, No Way Out, and began a fued with The Big Show. The scene was laughable with the 5-foot-7, 160 pound Mayweather standing at the chest of the 7-foot-2, 440 pound Big Show.

The wrestler, who’s real name is Paul Wight, then mocked Mayweather by getting down on his knees.

WWE may be fake in a lot of ways but let’s give Wight credit…he then allowed Floyd to punch him in the face several times drawing blood from his nose (WATCH THE VIDEO HERE). I guess Floyd’s hands aren’t too fragile to bare-knuckle blast Wight’s huge dome.

 

Mayweather supposedly broke Wight’s nose. Next up appears to be an appearance at Wrestlemania 24 in Orlando. Floyd will team up with Rey Mysterio Jr. in a tag-team match against The Big Show and a mystery partner. 

You’ll remember Mysterio is one of the many WWE stars linked to steroids.

David Wilbirt, an Arizona doctor, was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Agency from 2001 to 2005 for allegedly writing 3,879 prescriptions between November 2004 and April 2005, all for “patients” who had requested drugs over the Internet. His name came up in conjunction with Kurt Angle, a 1996 Olympic gold-medal-winning freestyle wrestler and now a star professional wrestler who allegedly received two prescriptions for trenbolone and one for nandrolone between October 2004 and February ’05. 

According to the official documents we reviewed, Wilbirt was billed for HCG and the steroid stanozolol that were sent to WWE star Eddie Guerrero in early 2005. Wilbirt also allegedly issued prescriptions for the steroids nandrolone and stanozolol to Oscar Gutierrez, whose stage name is Rey Mysterio.  

BROCK LESNAR TALKS MIR, TRANSITION TO MMA AND RIPS ON SYLVIA

 

Lesnar is ready to go and embraces the fact that he’s at the top of the promotion for UFC 81. He addresses naysayers and fires back at Tim Sylvia. Sylvia called him a baby before UFC 79.

“I don’t think he’s going to have a future in MMA. I think Frank Mir is going to beat him,” says Sylvia, who trained with Lesnar at Miletich. “He’s a baby. Don’t kick him, he doesn’t want to get hurt. He’s a helluva wrestler and he’s strong. But he can’t punch and doesn’t know how to kick. He can only go straight forward. He can’t survive as just a takedown guy.”

Lesnar said Sylvia is jealous.

White called out Fedor’s management team saying they didn’t give a shit about the fighter.  He’s done deals with the biggest free agents in the sport and rarely had trouble. He calls the manager an f**king liar.

WWE FINALLY TAKING ACTION…HUGE STARS SUSPENDED

 

Shocking news that Vince McMahon’s company has been forced into suspending some of his biggest stars for steroid and drug violations.

The suspensions come from the info gathered in the Albany, NY investigation into Signature Pharmacy of Orlando, Fla.

Wrestling-Edge.com is reporting that some of WWE’s biggest stars are amongst those suspended. The list includes Randy Orton, Edge and Booker T. The list also includes Chavo Guerrero. Apparently, no lesson was learned by Chavo in the tragic death of his uncle, Eddie.

Other clients of the Orlando pharmacy include Batista and Chris Masters. Three deceased wrestlers, Chris Benoit, Bryan Adams and Eddie Guerrero, are also on the client list.

Masters (pictured above story), who real name is Chris Mordetsky, has your classic roid physique. We also heard an interesting story from one of the hair replacement/restoration companies. A rep said Masters had been in to receive two different hair replacement surgeries. Keep in mind, Masters is just 24 years old. That’s some serious pre-mature baldness.

The N.Y. Daily News is all over the story:

Eddie Guerrero received the steroids testosterone and nandrolone, along with the estrogen-blocker anastozole, a drug commonly taken by men on steroids to prevent developing breast tissue, Nov. 2, 2005, just 11 days before he died of heart disease.

WRESTLER CRUSH AND CHRIS BENOIT LINKED?

 

The Tampa area medical examiner says results of Adam’s autopsy won’t be known for weeks. We still haven’t seen any reports on what we broke yesterday that Adams was rumored to be suffering from kidney failure. 

In a 2002 interview, Bryan Adams, revealed that he had trained with Benoit in Japan in 80′s and wasn’t the biggest Vince McMahon fan.

BRYAN ADAMS: My training was in Japan for a year with Antonio Inoki with New Japan at the same time as Chris Benoit. I’m one of 5 Americans to do that.

Q: The match that you had with Kane & The Undertaker at WWE Unforgiven 2001 was the subject of negative criticism by WWE management, fans, and the pro-wrestling media. What was your personal critique of this match?

BRYAN ADAMS: It was the worst ever. We told them we weren’t ready, and they made us do it anyway. Somebody was out to hurt us career-wise. It was horrible. We weren’t in wrestling shape and they didn’t give time to get in shape. We’d not wrestled for a year, so to work for them, we should have had several house shows, but they didn’t give us that. Whatever they could do to hurt us, they did. We just weren’t in shape from sitting on the side-lines for a year. They had told us one thing about being a gimmick match, use tables, chairs, whatever, then the night of the match, they changed it on us at the last minute. There was no storyline at all. Somebody was out to get us. 

Q: You have been a part of promotions that have come and gone, such as WCW and the WWA. If either company had given either of you creative control, what would you have done differently? Do you think that either company would still be here today if you had been at the helm?

BRYAN ADAMS: WWA couldn’t be saved, I don’t think. As for WCW, they were trying to change things that didn’t need to be changed, trying to out do Vince McMahon, and they should have left it as it was. They should have let Vince hang himself instead.
