Abrams jumps on bandwagon…when is Pittsburgh Post-Gazette going to apologize to writer and women?
I exploded last week when I heard the gutless crew at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette forced sports columnists Paul Zeise to apologize for comments he made on a Steel City sports TV roundtable. Zeise angered some when he stated Michael Vick would’ve been better off raping a woman.
Read the exact quote. To the morons who couldn’t understand what he was saying, turn off the TV and don’t ever ask for free speech.
“It’s really a sad day in this country when somehow…Michael Vick would have been better off raping a woman if you look at the outcry of what happened. Had he done that, he probably would have been suspended for four games and he’d be back on the field.”
Watch the video, Abrams did a great job bringing up numerous examples of shameful NFL policy when it comes to violence against women. Players are rarely punished and are never pulled off the field before a court has heard the case.
The Post-Gazette showed an anti-female stance by silencing Zeise. And in typical knee jerk fashion, reacted to the outrage of the minority instead of listening to the majority who clearly understood exactly what Zeise was saying.Explore posts in the same categories: Media musings
