HOW ABOUT SOME OBJECTIVITY ON THIS SUZYN WALDMAN NERVOUS BREAKDOWN?

Sometimes the New York media is ridiculous. Put friendships aside and call it like it is.

Richard Sandomir, N.Y. Times, explains why he was fine with Waldman’s ridiculous emotional meltdown on Monday.

It is not stunning that she wept. She has been connected to the Yankees by reporting about them or calling their games on WFAN, the MSG Network, Channels 5 and 11, the YES Network and WCBS for 20 years. She brokered Yogi Berra’s return to Yankee Stadium by eliciting an apology from George Steinbrenner for the way he fired him.

He says multiple times that she represents the fans. No she doesn’t!!. She represents a tiny segment of fans (not legit media) who cried when the Yankees lost. The rest of the Bomber fanbase are adults with real lives and realize it’s just a baseball team.

Plain and simple she let herself get caught up in the moment and delivered news that isn’t factually correct. Bottomline, is that most of this team will be back….just not Joe Torre. Listen below to hear Sunshine have a coronary over Waldman.

  1. “My Mom is now doing the Yankees”

I love unintentional humor. Waldman gets a free pass from me. No one takes her seriously so when stuff like this happens it’s kind of like “Well, that’s our Susan!”
