KEITH JARDINE TALKS LIDDELL WIN AND UFC CONTRACTS

Jardine says he wasn’t surprised at all that he beat Chuck Liddell. He also talks about Liddell being overconfident and not making adjustments during the fight.

Upon being told internet reports confirming Wanderlei Silva will fight Liddell in December, Jardine looked extremely disappointed. He believes that he’s the guy to get Silva if Liddell turns down the fight.

If you’re a fight fan this is THE show for you.

Mr. Sunshine, Steve Cofield will be joined by Adam Hill of the Las Vegas Review Journal as they do a post-fight show following UFC 77. It’s the only radio show in the country coming live from Cincy.

Lots of post-fight media analysis. And we want call ins from around the country. Sorry no toll free….but non-Vegas callers go to the front of the line, 702-365-9200.

The show will run from 10-Midnight PT (approx) and streams live on ESPN920.com.

The “Dean of Mean” also dismissed talk about his less than stellar contract which still has one more year left. But he did say there’s no way he would consider leaving UFC when the deal is done.

  2. Mike Jardine Says:

Keith tells it like it is in the world of fighting! He was very modest, but confident. Those kind of fighters are the most dangerous! I believe Keith is a mirror image of a Chuck Liddell, because they both possess those qualities. My father used to tell me when I was playing championship baseball in Las Vegas, Nevada (Senior Little League, American Legion, Valley High School), “son it takes heart, talent and practice to be a champion!” Keith has all three! I feel sorry for his next opponent, because he’s breaking somebody’s jaw or making them say, “Uncle”. Either way, Keith will make a statement in his next fight, because he is hungry.
