RANDY COUTURE SPEAKS EXCLUSIVELY WITH COFIELD

To our knowledge, here is the first extended convo with the UFC heavyweight champ. Couture shut it down with the media after his big press conference. The show has always had a solid relationship with Randy and he was very conversational on the subject of his contract with UFC.
Couture is holding a charity poker tournament this Saturday at the Hard Rock in Las Vegas. The proceeds go to the Xtreme Couture GI Foundation. Celebrity players include Couture, Forrest Griffin, Gray Maynard and Frank Trigg. Poker stars Doyle Brunson, Jamie Gold, Sam Farha, Phil Gordon and Mike Matusow are all scheduled.
Couture says he’s sitting until June/July when his UFC contract runs out. He wants to fight Fedor and UFC is unwilling to make the match with another organization. Randy elaborates on how much he has spoken with UFC officials and plenty of other topics.
